Biography (English)

     Starting his career as a DJ in his teens, DJ RIKUMARU is a disk jockey who plays in many club events around TOKYO and NAGOYA in Japan.

     DJ RIKUMARU's genreless selection of music begins with Hip hop, Trap and even Dubstep. His unique skillful mix which consists of an amalgamation of the newest and old hits, has a high reputation that exceeds the generations.

     DJ RIKUMARU vigorously performs in over 15 events every month, and plays as a guest DJ in many clubs in TOKYO and NAGOYA.

      He also joined a JAPAN TOUR held by Tyga(Young Money), Roscoe Dash, Travis Porter, New Boyz, Araab MUZIK(Dipset/Diplomat Records), Iyaz and any other famous artists. In addition, his experience of playing as a DJ around the world; such as:"VIP FRIDAY@THE LOUNGE"(Auckland/New Zealand), "FANTASIA@bOb bar"'(New York/US),"IN&OFF@HOTEL AMERICANO"(New York/US), @KAMIKAZE"(Guam/US), creates a one and only sound that only DJ RIKUMARU can fabricate.

     In January 2013, he joined the SwurvRadio.com™ crew. It has been broadcasting online since 2005 to over 30k listeners a month in over 130 countries. He takes charge in  "The Global Seize" from 10:00pm(GMT - 8:00) every Friday on SwurvRadio.com™.

     DJ RIKUMARU establishes a whole new DJ style and continues to captivate the audience.

バイオグラフィ（日本語）

東京都新宿区出身。

10代よりDJを始め、東京を中心に様々なナイトクラブやホテル・レストラン等で活動する日本のDJ。

​

　Hiphopを中心に、DancehallやHouse・Rockなど、フロアを意識した幅広い選曲、新旧織り交ぜたグルーブ感のあるオープン・フォーマットなプレイスタイルは世代を超えて評価されている。これまでに、多くのアーティストのジャパンツアーにも抜擢されている。

　そして、2009年SERATO®の本社があるNew ZealandのAucklandでは、Hiphop Club"The Lounge"にてスピン。また、2012年より約1年間New Yorkへ活動拠点を移し、ブルックリンやハーレムのコアなナイトクラブやミートパッキングの人気クラブ、そしてアッパーイーストサイドのセレブが集うパーティにてプレイするなど、様々な現場で経験値を積む。

　2015年～2016年には、J-WAVE(81.3 FM)”ZAPPA!"の番組にてDJ MIXを担当。また、2017年よりディズニーオフィシャルホテル®シェラトン・グランデ・トーキョー・ベイ・ホテルにて「NIGHT POOL」の企画をプロデュース。

　そして、２０１８年５月よりDJマーケットの拡大を目的として、日本で初めてラグジュアリーホテルやレストランに特化した会社”REZONANCE”をDJ HIRO・DJ IPPEIと共に設立。インバウンド需要の創出とナイトタイム・エコノミーへの寄与を目的とした新たな取り組みに、クラブシーンでも注目を集めている。

　現在では、1OAK TOKYO・SEL OCTAGON TOKYO・PLUS TOKYOといったインターナショナル・クラブでのレギュラーDJとして活躍。

　

　日本問わずニューヨークでのキャリアを活かした彼の巧みなプレイスタイルは唯一無二のものとなり、その勢いある行動力と影響力は、日本のクラブシーンを魅了し続けている。
